Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an incredibly simple and effective way to take your emotional and physical wellbeing into your own hands. It's easy to learn, fast - acting and can help with a range of problems from anxiety, low moods, fears, unresolved problems and even pain management. If I feel that EFT may benefit you I might suggest that we incorporate a brief 'tapping' session into your treatment plan so that you can learn the technique to use at home and experience for yourself how incredibly effective it is.

EFT involves tapping on energy meridian endpoints (similar to those used in acupuncture or acupressure) with your fingertips, whilst focusing on the negative emotion you have been experiencing. As you tap and concentrate on accepting and resolving this emotion, a calming signal is transmitted to the amygdala - the primitive part of your brain that controls your fight or flight response. 

As the amygdala is soothed, your body's energy is restored to a balanced state and you find you are much better able to deal with that problem or troubling emotion.

EFT empowers you to heal yourself, putting control over your life back into your own hands. Best of all, once you've learned the technique it's free to do and very, very simple!

These are usually great fun and all guests walk away with an incredible new skill that they can use at home any time they need to.
